Kids are too demanding these days.

This morning’s request was corn muffin.  I tried to offer something else, told him it was going to take a while; but none of that worked.  So I decided to make corn muffins.  I don’t mind baking, but somehow I knew the question, is it ready yet? was going to be asked several times.  Well, this time there was a twist to it.  My answer to that question was; when you hear the timer it will be ready.  I thought I was so clever.  Every second I kept hearing a little person going “beep, beep,beep, it is ready!”
